Is it okay for a baby to take antibiotics every time she has a cold despite not having fever?

The baby should not take antibiotics when they have a cold. Antibiotics are used to treat bacterial infections yet colds are caused by a virus. Please see a doctor before administering any antibiotic to your baby as frequent use of antibiotics may lead to resistance meaning that when your baby really needs them, they may not work.
