My baby is now a year old. She received the BCG jab at three days of birth but there was never any ulcer or swelling. To date there is no mark on her hand, does it mean that the jab was not effective?

A raised blister does not form for some babies. As long as the vaccine was administered, it still provides protection for your baby and does not need to be repeated. Your doctor can advise further on the same
