Hi, I have a colicky baby who is 2 and 1/2 months old now. I was using Bonnisan and it used to work well. My doctor discouraged me from using it as it causes intestinal complications. I have tried infacol but it does not work. Kindly help

Currently no one is really sure what causes colic; however, a few changes may make a difference. It is good for you to know that your baby outgrows the colicky period. Here are a few tips:
- Keep a food diary because your baby maybe affected by the foods you eat. Common foods that can trigger an episode of colic may be wheat, dairy or milk products, cabbage etc. If you notice your baby is more colicky after a eating certain foods you can eliminate them from your diet
- Wear or Kangaroo your baby, this seems to calm the baby.
- Feed your baby on one breast at least it feels empty before changing to the opposite breast
