My baby girl is three months old now going to four; she doesn’t sleep that much at night. I have tried even training her between night and day but it has seemed helpless. What should I do?

Infants do need to learn how to sleep. However, due to their small tummies, they do need to have feeds at regular intervals even at night. You can encourage your baby to learn how to sleep. Here are a few tips:

Have a regular nap schedule. A consistent sleep routine during the daytime helps regulate night time sleep.

Try and put your baby to bed before she is too tired.

Get a bed time routine and try and stick to it, babies thrive on routine.

Create a comfortable sleep environment that’s tailored to your child. A darkened, quiet room is better than a well lit room.
