Hello Baby Banda. I am one month pregnant but vomiting throughout the day. I used emitino but there is no change. What should I do? I have already lost some weight.

In the first trimester, you may get a lot of nausea and vomiting but hopefully it does get better after the first 3 months. To help ease the nausea, here are a few tips;
- Eat what you feel like eating, don’t worry too much on the nutrition as long as you are able to keep it down
- Avoid heavily spiced or fatty foods which may increase the nausea
- Avoid getting hungry, try and eat small amounts through the day. Feeling empty or hungry can make the nausea worse.
- Carry apples or another fruit with you. At the first hint of hunger/nausea, eat an apple, followed 15 minutes later by a heavier food.
- If plain water is not appealing try juices, soups, lemon water, dry ginger ale, soda
- Stay away from strong or offensive smells.
- Get plenty of rest as nausea is often worse when you are tired.
- Speak to your doctor about trying a different medication to ease the nausea
