Am I at risk of getting an overweight baby which will make it difficult to give birth naturally?

Hello, Am I at risk of getting an overweight baby which will make it difficult to give birth naturally?  I am now 21 weeks pregnant and weigh an estimate 80-83kgs depending on where I weigh. My post baby weight was at 74kgs.  I love to eat, always have. But now I keep hearing that if I continue this way I am risking getting an overweight child which reduces the chances of natural child birth, which I am hoping for. Kindly advice, on how I can better monitor what to eat and some exercises for me. Please help, before I get any more paranoid about what I eat.

Sometimes the hormonal changes can trigger either weight gain or weight loss.  I would suggest a visit to your doctor who can do a thyroid test to see if there is hormonal imbalance.  To add weight, eat high protein foods like meats and legumes, high energy foods and eat small meals 5-6 times a day.  Get plenty of sleep as well.
