Exercise in pregnancy is very important as it keeps you fit and helps to manage the weight gain. You can walk, swim, dance, yoga, light aerobic exercises. However, you should avoid exercises that require lifting impact like running, lifting weights and stomach crunches etc. Ensure that you are able to talk through your exercise, if the exercise is too intense until you cannot talk then it’s too much and there is a risk of overheating.
