My baby turned 6 months today; I have been feeding her on S-26 formula milk while I am at work, then breastfeed her in the evening and weekends. I introduced her to Butternut pumpkins 2 weeks ago and she seems to be enjoying them. I would like to know what other solid food I should introduce her too and also fruits. I hear bananas are not good for babies?

When weaning baby it is advisable to start with mashed or semi-solid foods like mashed bananas, potatoes, pumpkins or pureed vegetables. Enrich the porridge and mashed food with milk. Fruits like paw paws, mangoes, orange juice and watermelons are also good for the baby.
