I am in my first trimester and have a low appetite. I get hungry but can’t eat because nothing appeals to me and I’m also afraid because sometimes I can’t keep any food down. I try to take fruits but that doesn’t last long. Please help.

It is common in the first trimester to get a lot of nausea and vomiting triggered by the hormonal changes. It does improve as your pregnancy progresses. A few tips to help you during this time
– eat small meals through the day
-eat what you feel like eating at any particular time
– ginger, ginger ale, lemon water and dry foods like bread, may help alleviate the nausea
– your doctor may prescribe some medication to help ease the vomiting as well
-Keep yourself hydrated by taking fluids
