Infertility

From an early age, most people dream of holding their little baby in their hands.  However some people find themselves coping with the challenge of infertility.  Infertility refers to the inability of couples to conceive a clinical pregnancy after 1 year or more of having regular intercourse and can affect both men and women. There are several common treatments for conception available in Kenya.  However, because either or both partners may be involved, it is important to test both the man and woman before starting treatment. No matter what the cause, most treatments require the active participation of both partners.

In some cases, a couple may have Secondary Infertility which refers to when the problem arises in a couple who have been able to get pregnant in the past. Sometimes new factors, such as infections and the aging process, can result in secondary infertility.
