Common Pregnancy Complications

For most women, pregnancy is an exciting time, full of expectations as you wait for the little one(s) to be born.  Majority of pregnant women go through this period quite smoothly but for around 15% of women, complications can occur that cloud the experience and put the woman and her unborn child at risk.  Complications during pregnancy do require medical interventions to preserve and protect the lives of both the mother and her unborn child.
