What can be causing my 1 year 7 months baby unable to chew food? He swallows yet he has teeth. Could it be that he can’t eat solid foods?

Your baby has not yet learnt to how to chew and thus just swallows the food. To encourage him to learn, give him finger foods where he is feeding himself e g piece of bread. This will encourage him to take a bite and chew, avoid also very finely mashed or blended foods.
