You can introduce the foods that you generally eat in your home – Ugali,  potatoes,  arrow roots etc most vegetables,  chicken,  fish,  chicken liver, peas  give baby a balanced diet,  cook with a little oil as well.  For milk, continue to breast feed and supplementing with formula milk and yogurt.  Fresh cow milk is not recommended till after age 1 if possible.
