I would wish to know the recommended food types for a breastfeeding mother. I experience low milk production for my one-month old baby and so your advice would be of help to me.

Aim to eat a balanced diet from all food groups. Include
- protein foods 2-3 times a day(Meats, eggs, beans, nuts and seeds)
- Three servings of vegetables (Dark green and yellow vegetables)
- Two servings of fruit daily
- Whole grains daily (Wimbi porride, ugali, pasta, rice )
- Cook your food with healthy fat and oils
- Take plenty of fluids (water, soups, smoothies)
