What causes low blood pressure during pregnancy and how can it be stabilized?
Hormonal changes in your body may be the cause of this. Your body will be producing hormones, particularly progesterone which helps to relax the walls of your blood vessels and will likely cause your blood pressure to fall especially during your 1st & 2nd trimester.
Here are a few tips if you have low blood pressure:

Ensure you attend your clinics so that your health care provider can monitor you.

Try to sleep on your left side to increase blood flow to your heart.

Avoid caffeine beverages.

Avoid standing for long durations of time.

Do some exercise regularly as this helps keep the blood pressure within the normal range.

Drink plenty of fluids; a pregnant woman should drink more water than usual.
