Answer for My baby is 4 months, 1 week. He had a cold one week ago, a congested nose, a little clear mucus and a bit of sneezing. It cleared after 3 days but I’ve just seen some mucus, what could be the problem? I will really appreciate your help

Since your little one had a cold, it will take a while for the mucus to completely dry off, continue to breastfeed often as your milk has natural antibodies that will help drying of the mucus. If the nose is still getting clogged and blocked, you can ask your doctor for some saline drops that will help dissolve the mucus; otherwise it will clear by itself. Remember also that babies cannot clear their voice so sometimes; it is normal to hear as if your baby has phlegm on the throat, this in itself is normal and most will remove it as they burp or they swallow it down. If it is a lot and you hear as if your baby is snoring during sleep, the saline drops still come in handy as you put them on the nose and it goes down to the throat and helps clear it.
