What are the best sanitary pads to use immediately after delivering? I mostly see people use cotton wool and personally, I feel I won’t be comfortable with the cotton wool.

You can use maternity sanitary pads. These are pads that are meant specifically for use after birth and are able to handle the heavy flow whilst also preventing infection by not retaining too much heat. The hospital can provide you with these, but find out beforehand if your hospital will provide. You can also purchase these pads from a chemist or supermarket.
