What causes cervical cancer?

Cervical cancer is called by a virus called HPV. It is sexually transmitted and especially skin to skin. However, it’s not every HPV infection leads to cancer. There are over 200 HPV infections and only 15 of them possibly lead to cancer. 80 percent of women clear the HPV viral with time. Regular checkups help to identify the virus early.
