Babies at this stage undergo what we call ‘oral stage’ so everything goes to the mouth. If you sterilise things around your house, it would mean that she would end up eating the steriliser which should not be ingested. You could however sterilise the toys the same way you do her feeding equipment, bottles, spoons etc, this way even if they end up in the mouth, there is no toxic chemical on them.
