How can one deal with the issue of leaking down there after birth and how long is that period?

The first week after birth is the most painful. Things start going back to normal after 6 weeks. The leaking is due to shedding of extra layers in the uterus, just like the monthly periods. At first it is red and then becomes whitish as the redness reduces. After 3 weeks it becomes like water. How long this takes depends on one’s body. It is very important to be ladylike during this period in order not to scare your man away. Keep it as a secret if you can and keep clean.
